Maria Grazia Piancino MD, DDS, PhD, is Associate Professor in Orthodontics at the Dental School, University of Turin-Italy. She is the Director of the Post-graduate School of Orthodontics. Professor, member and tutor at the Dental degree and Phd Program in Experimental Medicine and Therapy. Responsible of early functional and orthopedic therapies, expert in orthognathodontics, masticatory function, posture, TMJ disfunctions. Past-President and Group Program Chair of the Nutrition Research Group of the IADR, she organized 4 IADR symposia. Editorial Board Member elect for Journal of Dental Research, referee of international journals, member of scientific societies. Author and coauthor of more than 300 scientific articles and posters, she lectured all over Europe, United States of America, Canada, South America and Italy. Author of 6 books chapter and of the book “Understanding Masticatory Function in Unilateral Crossbites” published by Wiley USA and EdiErmes Milan Italy.
